Despite my progress in terms of time and distance covered in running, the leg pain seems to get worse after each run. So I decided to see the company doctor and get some medical advice.
He says the pain is probably not due to bone fracture, since if it were, I wouldn't be able to walk properly at all. It's probably due to tendon/ligament trouble above my ankle, which should heal itself over time. So he said I should stop running for awhile, as well as any activity that would make my legs hurt -- jogging, dancing, badminton, etc. Basically anything outside walking. For a whole month. If the symptoms persist after that, I'd have to get X-Rays or MRI.
Oh well. So much for keeping fit this summer.
