I had no idea you were going. Not so soon. Not like that.  If I had known, I would have done something.

It's so hard because the littlest things in our lives remind us of you.  Those little things that we tend to take for granted.  Those little things that showed how much you cared.

It's sad how we only really know what someone means to us only after they leave our lives.  We could imagine how life would be without someone, but that doesn't really come close to how it truly feels.

We miss you, Mae.
